Prayers & Squares

Prayers & Squares’ group is looking for women that are interested in getting together to make Prayer Quilts. The purpose of the Prayers & Squares Quilt Ministry is to promote prayer through the hand-tied quilts where every knot-tied is a prayer.  
Prayer Quilts are a gift of prayer to provide comfort for the sick, in hospital, homebound, Rehab, nursing home, or for a family ‘In Memory of a loved one’.
Anyone interested is welcome to join whether you are an expert quilter, a beginner or have an interest in sewing; no experience is needed.                                                                                                        We meet on Monday from 10 am until 2 pm in the Holy Family room, South from the office.                                                                                 For more information, contact/text: Margaret Laney at 214-454-7899.
Cada lunes en la mañana un grupo compasivo de costureras se reúnen a elaborar hermosas colchas sobre las cuales se hace oración trayendo confort y sanación a los feligreses que se encuentran en tiempos de dificultad.  Cada colcha es un recordatorio del amor de Cristo y Su poder de sanación. 
Todas las personas interesadas son bienvenidas a unirse, ya sean expertas en acolchado, principiantes o tengan interés en la costura; no se necesita experiencia.
 Nos reunimos los lunes de 10 a.m. a 2 p.m. en la sala Holy Family, al sur de la oficina.
